If half stars were allowed, I'd give it 3.5. It's a good story, but doesn't always flow well, too wordy at times, and when, finally after 100 some pages of angst, the MC's have sex, its a lot, not spaced out enough. And the word choices in the dialogue are strange sometimes. If Noah is the son of a lawyer and went to college, why is he a handyman? Zane busts his butt to care of other people, does he have time to read and acquire some of the words he uses?
