Chase in Shadow

Chase in Shadow - Amy Lane I really love Amy Lane's 'lighter' stories like It's Not Shakespeare, enjoyed both versions of Super Sock Man, and intentionally read Dex in Blue before Chase because I know I don't want to spend time and money on angst (which becomes such an innocuous word when applied to Ms. Lane's work). But I couldn't help it, I had to go and read the gaps that Dex left. Was prepared to read a disquieting coming out of the closet story but the psycho-drama behind it all is what hit me. Since I'm a member of that unfortunate survivors' club this book struck a dissonant chord that never stopped clanging. Normally I devour an Amy Lane book, this took two days.
